On November 13, 2021 please come out and support your Lady Pioneers basketball team as we fundraise for new uniforms. We will be at the Chipotle on 41 w 87th st (87th and Dan Ryan). Mike Melendrez '93 Board of Ambassadors Chair and Big Shoulders Fund Speaker Hispanic Heritage Month

Our own Mike Melendrez is speaking at the BSF Network Speaking Series "Bridging Generations through Shared Culture" on October 13th -- all are invited to attend (in person if space is available or by ZOOM). Read details here.

Mike was born and raised on the East Side of Chicago. He attended St. Francis de Sales High School and the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He has supported SFDS over many years and has in recent years spearheaded the Board of Ambassadors.

In 2001, Mike founded Red Circle Recruiting, a tech recruiting firm specializing in start-up and early stage companies. His company’s mantra, “Building Companies by Changing Lives,” comes from Mike’s belief that finding the right individual for the right opportunity at the right time, can change the course of that person’s life, and the company’s future.
