Tax Credit Scholarship Applications Open in early January for two different Scholarship Granting Organizations! Be prepared to apply at both portals as soon as they open to give you a better chance of receiving a TCS! 

1. Big Shoulders Fund Scholarship Granting Organization opens for applications on Tuesday January 12th at 8am here:  https://www.bigshouldersfundsgo.org/

  • They are offering Tax Credit Tuesday Information Sessions Via Zoom:December 29 at Noon - English Link Here & Español Link Aqui and January 5 LIVE Q&A at Noon

  • Follow the Big Shoulders Fund on social media for the most up to date information.

2.Empower Illinois opens January 13th for applications for the 21-22 School Year here: https://empowerillinois.org/apply/how-do-i-apply/

December 30th: Early Admission Make Up Placement Exam and Interview

On December 30th at 10 am we will be offering a make up date for students to interview and take our placement exam.

Students must apply first here:

Giving Tuesday
Thank you to the numerous donors who supported our annual appeal on Giving Tuesday! You come from many states and different graduation years and various connections to SFDS but one thing is the same, your support makes an impact. Your gift impacts  students directly through supporting the Pioneer Fund for financial aid and providing support for those families facing economic hardship. As Principal Facen noted,  her goal is to give this new generation of Pioneers the opportunities and experiences she received at St. Francis de Sales when she was a student here.
