St. Francis de Sales Students return from Educational Tour of Puerto Rico

Seven students enjoyed a 7 day trip to Puerto Rico with English teacher Diana Serrano.  They traveled to the the city of Ponce to visit a coffee plantation, to Old San Juan to walk around the cobble stoned streets and learn of the Spanish influenced architecture, they visited the 2nd oldest church in the Western Hemisphere, and the students experienced plenty of water activities that included kayaking, snorkeling and night swimming in the bioluminescent bay.  Students learned how to dance salsa and learn how to cook a Puerto Rican staple: mofongo.  SFDS travelers also made new friends with students from Utah, California and Montana.  See pictures below.
