Boys Baseball wins 1A Regionals! Come watch Sectional semi-finals on Tuesday
/Good Evening Pioneer Family,
You may have heard by now that the St. Francis de Sales boys baseball team won their 1A Regional Championship game beating Hales by a score of 10-9!
The game was a close one. The team was losing in the 4th inning 2-4, but then the boys started a rally in the top of the 5th inning with a single by Gerald Sanchez. Erick Rodriguez lead the pioneers on the mound. Michael Chavez closed out the game.
A special thank you to Coach K for providing her assistance by keeping the score book. She has been dubbed the teams good luck charm.
Ms. Serrano, Mr. Sanchez and many of the baseball parents were at the game, as well as a former teacher, Rex Martin.
