St. Francis de Sales Recycle

Please consider using the St. Francis de Sales' paper recycling bin located in the southeast corner of the teachers parking lot. This is an easy way to raise money while helping save the environment. The large green and yellow bin will accept paper such as newspapers, magazines, catalogs, junk mail, books (hard covers removed) shredded paper, copy paper, computer paper, envelopes folders, etc) but please, no plastic, glass cardboard or telephone books.

Drop your student at the St. Francis doors and your newspapers at the green bin!

December Basketball Schedule and Homecoming December 12th

Click here to find the basketball schedule including the Girls Varsity, Boys Varsity, Boys Sophomore and the Boys Freshman teams.  All Alumni mark the calendar to join us on Friday, December 12 for Homecoming 2014 at St. Francis de Sales High School.

Returning to the home court will also be Boys' Head Basketball Coach Kevin Wolfe. After a one year absence Coach Wolfe is back inspiring his talented squad.  Wolfe says he and his quick, high-flying Pioneers are committed to bringing back the days of basketball excellence.  "From 1988 to 1998 we won ten consecutive regional championships. We are in the very tough Chicago Catholic League South Division. But with our experience and talent we have a real chance to play well despite being the smallest school in the conference with a difficult schedule. We hope to perform at a high level in the conference and to play well in the 1A state tournament to at least into the regionals," Wolfe added.

Before the 7:30 p.m. varsity game against St. Ignatius, the freshmen will play at 4:30 p.m. and the sophomores at 6:00 p.m.

Starting at 5 p.m. and throughout the evening an Alumni Reception will be held in the school library.  Beverages and food will be provided for alumni. "This is a great opportunity for celebration amongst past and present faculty and former students," said Mary Kay Ramirez, Director of Community relations. "We are excited to show our former graduates the physical improvements to the building, particularly our new alumni lounge. We have many new academic programs and talented staff and we wish to share our future plans for growth with our many alumni.  We also are looking to involve many alumni in our overall future planning as we look for graduates to share with us their time, talent and treasure."
